It's great. The chicken Pho is the best in the city. I was disappointed though today that they filled the bowl with large rice noodles. It took away from the pleasure of the soup and the correct noodle for Pho. Hope this was a one time thing. The noodles were not good and felt mismatched. Not liking that.

I know this is the right place when I hear the remix of old Asian country pop songs from 70s-80s were playing in the restaurant. Let alone the friendly Vietnamese-speaking owners/staffs. So I go for large pho with all cuts of beef without hesitation. It was amazing. To be honest, I have had pho in Vietnam, China and here, none of them fails me. Their quality and flavor are much more stable and consistent than my mental health and future. All the beef cuts are perfectly cooked, even the tendon, they are usually my least favorite----overcooked ones are slimy, undercooked ones chewy, but the tendon here are perfect to my liking, I topped a piece of pricked jalapeño with it, yum! It's a simple yet hearty meal, I finish all the pho and wish I could finish the broth too. Will definitely come back for more pho!

WHAT A SWEET, LITTLE EATERY!! FOOD IS SUPER!! I'm Vietnamese. Most V folks are very critical of their people's food. Me? If you treat me well; I do the same for you. This restaurant has BY FAR the most FRIENDLY, WELCOMING and KIND HOST. It's a very consistent good attitude and wonderful outreach to customers. A rare find but I've been going to eat here since 2016. This is the first time I've had a chance to share my thoughts. A VERY WELCOMING PLACE!! The Old Guy is a very darling person with a beautiful spirit and gentle expressions of neighborly kindness and honesty. He works hard to take your order and get you your food! Never too slow with getting the food out; I'm not starving by the time my plate arrives. It's always very pleasant at Banh Town. I don't have to fear who might be hosting. I'm not scared to go there. His wife is also very nice, sweet and direct. She doesn't waste my time. Always answering my questions without any evidence of being annoyed. She is patient and forthright. If she has run out of the food I want to order; I don't get the run around. She never wastes my time; rarely sugar coats her answers. That's what I like. BANH TOWN FOOD IS EXCELLENT! Pho is outstanding! BANH MI is great! Their rice vermicelli bowls with grilled pork, egg rolls, fresh veggies is fantastic! Appetizers are winners!! BIG TICKET ITEMS: Their ROASTED DUCK is something to write home about. Eat it; I guarantee you will like it. Like Seafood? They score! My very tiny fractions of challenges follow: Folks -- It's my humble opinion that parking can be tough but it's not their fault. Parking is hard to get in most places within Seattle. Still, the good part of this news is that the surrounding neighborhood is fairly safe. You can park 1-2 blocks away [if needed] and have a nice stroll to and from BANH TOWN. Be nice if they had a more large place; more square footage and a bigger bathroom would be cool but you can't have everything, you know? To close, go to eat at Banh Town. Dont be in a big rush. Sit down, chill. Try a few things. It's all good!

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 7/10 I would say this pho is not pure authentic Vietnamese and is slightly westernized. Maybe even a bit Asian fusion. So if you are looking for purely authentic pho, then maybe this place is not for you. But if u r just looking for tasty food, this is definitely good. Food is Amazing. Ingredients tasted super fresh and yummy. -Quail Poppers were so amazing. It's a quail egg wrapped in chicken meat and then deep fried to perfection. The sauce was also to die for! A nice sweet chili sauce. -Spring Rolls (are actually salad rolls) had nice fresh ingredients - Curry lemongrass chicken is perfectly grilled and seasoned. A beautiful lemongrass chicken with a mild curry and sweet honey taste to it. It came with some fresh vegetables and egg rolls. Their egg rolls weren't anything special. They just tasted like your typical frozen egg rolls you can buy at a grocery store. But everything else was def unique and tasted amazing! -Roasted Duck is very juicy and was very mildly seasoned with what I think is salt as the duck flavour was very prominent and delicious. Only complaint is that there is ALOT of bones and you do feel like u gotta work for ur meat but it is 100% worth it!! (And bones are common in Asian cuisine) The curry fired rice tasted like they infused homemade or fresh garlic powder and it is also super yummy. -OxTail Pho. The Oxtail is suppperrr tender and cooked to perfection. Very yummy broth. However I am unsure whether the broth is authentic as it tastes slightly different from the broth I have had at authentic places. But it was still extremely yummy. -Bubble Tea was very good. Tasted like they used Coconut Milk. I normally don't like coconut milk too much but it actually complimented the drink very nicely! So I would 100% recommend the bubble tea to. Service was 10/10. We were greeted by this super cute and friendly young asian woman who was constantly checking on us to make sure the food was okay and even gave us TONS of water. We never had to ask for her to refill or check on anything because she was already just on top of it and was super sweet. She even told us to let her know if we wanted more ice for our drinks or milk. She was just absolutely adorable and kind! Ambiance 7/10 The furniture and the environment in general seemed a bit outdated but it was clean and that's what matters!! It was also a fairly small place with only maybe 5 tables. But no complaints as we were seated and looked after right away. Overall I highly recommend this place as I do think of it as a bit of a hidden gem as their food was so amazing! (However I wish they included more vegetables with each dish)

Excellent Vietnamese food. I had the Pahd Thai with shrimp. Great flavor, the noodles were perfect. A star off because of no vegetables except for one tiny slice of zucchini. I got 8 shrimp and because they left the tails on (you definitely do not want to swallow those) I cannot give my top rating. I received a small salad and some large wontons, and I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee which is better than Starbucks at $6 after tax. Rich and creamy with strong, but not to strong, coffee flavor. Normally, with either salads or cooked international dishes having shrimp, it is always better to peel and devain the shrimp entirely for safety and flavor. The only place tails on belong on a shrimp is a shrimp/prawn cocktail. In spite of that shortcoming, I will be back. Most dishes are $17.95 not including tax. Very close family run, and the owner, manager is very polite. To say "thank you" in Vietnamese, you say, Cảm ơn~ (Kam-unh!) (I can speak some 27 languages that way). I love international communications, since we are all God's children on this earth, and I am not ashamed to say it. to say "Your Welcome," you would say, Không có gì! (Kong-cow-gee)!
